1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

This 1966 Chevelle has had a top-quality custom build and no expenses were spared. It is a gorgeous all original sheet metal car and it has won several awards. All fit and finish is impressive, there are no gaps in any of the seams. Meticulous attention was given to detail. This car will leave onlookers green with envy!

Exterior has a 3-stage candy paint, color Moss Madness, that can look different shades in different lighting. The top is a lighter green 2-stage metallic paint and the color combination displays beautifully! Paint has no flaws and was done by a very reputable shop. The hood displays a center satin black stripe and continues around and down the sides of the car to separate the light and darker green paint, as well as on the top and on the trunk. The color combination is stunning! 

The custom leather interior is light green with dark green leather sculpted seat inserts at the top of the back of seats. A center console runs from the top of the back seats through to the front and is outlined with dark green leather piping for a very classy touch. The light green door panels are also sculpted with the dark green inserts. Dash is painted light green with the darker green leather surrounding the outer part and the leather steering wheel is dark green as well. Headliner is a light green suede that matches the seats. The trunk features the same 2-tone light and dark green leather.

Engine is a Chevy 505 CID with dart heads, mild cam, hydraulic rollers, Billet Specialties Tru Trac Serpentine System, Holley 1050 race carburetor, and is running E85 fuel.  Engine is set up to accommodate a blower or pro-charger. The horsepower is 600-650. Engine is paired with a 400 Turbo automatic transmission.

Options are Vintage Air AC/Heat, power steering, tilt wheel, Wilwood power disc brakes 6-disc in the front, 4-disc in the rear. Dash features classic gauges and instruments. The wheels are Budnik, 18 in the front and 20 in the rear.

Car has all Air Ride Suspension parts, Shockwaves in the front and bags in the rear. Rear end is a Chevy 12 bolt rear.

The undercarriage is as beautiful as the rest of the car.  It features brushed stainless steel and paint that matches the exterior.

This Chevelle was born a 396 Super Sport. Only 100 carefully driven miles have been placed on this car. Owner has all receipts of the build and some build photos.
