California, here we come! This 1947 Station Wagon is a rare one and perfect for the beach lover who wants to have fun cruising. Of course, you do not need to live near the beach to enjoy this very fun and unique automobile. This car is a real showstopper and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes.
Only 4,912 Woody Wagons were built for the 1947 year. You don't see as many Chevy woodies as you do the Ford woodies.
The Woody was considered a very good-looking vehicle and it was the most expensive model that Chevrolet built in 1947. The Fleetmaster was introduced in 1941 and it is the lowest in quantity that Chevy ever manufactured.
The all-original steel exterior is a light green distressed paint. There are even accents of bird droppings to make it look old and give a fun flair! The top is also green and features a real surfboard for the beach cruiser look. Wood is in very good condition with a weathered look. All chrome and trim is in excellent condition as well.
Interior is the original tan imitation leather and door panels are wood. The dash presents in excellent condition and even has a hula girl for entertainment! A woven rug covers the floors. The headliner is amazing as the wood and pattern of the wood is absolutely gorgeous!
Engine is a crate 350 CID, 3 deuces, paired with a 350 automatic transmission. Under the radiator are vented air ducts that pull in all of the air through the radiator, resulting in a cool ride, no overheating of the engine.
Options are power brakes, COLD AC and heat, and a Pioneer stereo with CD player.
This Chevy Woody Wagon runs and drives with excellent performance. It gets a LOT of attention wherever it goes and always results in a gathering of people expressing oohs and aahs while admiring the car.
The location is Louisville KY about 9 minutes from the airport. Serious buyers only may view the car by appointment only.
