This is an excellent 1937 Buick Series 40 convertible coupe, 1 of 2399 manufactured. The Fisher body is the solid, original sheet metal and vehicle is laser straight. This classic Buick has remained in the South its entire life and has been in the hands of this collector for 20 years. The exterior is the original Sandringham Maroon color. Interior is tan and in excellent condition. The dash is original and most impressive. The original steering wheel has no cracks and is in great condition. This automobile comes with the original 248 cid inline overhead valve Eight-cylinder engine that offered 100 horsepower. The overhead valve mechanism was much quieter than the previous version of this engine. Also intake valves were updated in 1937 as well as an improved cooling system.
